First, let’s have a look at the comparison of the three Moto Smartphones:

Design & Display

Sporting a 4.3-inch display with 960x540p resolution, the Moto E gives out a pixel density of 256ppi. Beyond these numbers, the colors noticed in Moto E’s screen are bright and up to the mark. Other than this, the viewing angle is decent, but not something that Motorola can show off! But the good news is that the touch in this handset works perfectly fine. It responds to even the slightest of touch instantly. In short, the Moto E offers one of the best displays yet in the Rs. 10,000 range yet.

Carrying out the design of Moto G, the Moto E has similar curved edges and slanting back as its sibling, but is a little wider and heavier. The Smartphone is well-designed and quite easy to grip in the hand.

Using a water-repellant coating inside as well as outside, the Moto E does not really get damaged soon as a little water touches it or is splashed on it. But don’t expect it to overpower the water control. Once you drop it on water, it’s gone unlike what most of the Sony Xperia Smartphone’s offer.

Anyways, the Gorilla Glass 3 is there for added protection to the screen against scratches.

Sporting the front speakers which are located above and below the display, this handset comes with while the sensors located above it. The Camera being placed at its back only may be disappointing for some but the Rs. 6999/- price range will help you keep your mouth sealed. Both the Power and Volume buttons are located on the right side while the back cover is swappable, but you cannot remove the battery.

Performance

The combination of Android 4.4 Kitkat Operating system, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor and 1GB RAM work pretty well for this Motorola Smartphone. Other than this, the internal 4 GB memory might be a bit disappointing for some, but it’s pretty good according to the price of Moto E. Luckily, the Expandable memory of up to 32 GB will meet your demand of storing unlimited photographs, songs and videos.

In terms of connectivity, the well-built Moto E is loaded with all the essentials, be it, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct but not NFC.  Alothough, the handset does not support 4G but it is well supported by 3G.
Not to forget, for people who need Dual SIM feature in their mobile phone, Moto E acts like a life-saver for those!

Coming to the significant news, Motorola claims that Moto E can perform common tasks like making calls faster than Samsung Galaxy S4. Now this is what will appeal most of the users. The Moto E can hereby put Samsung Galaxy S4 to shame! You can take a deep breath now, as this Smartphone is not slow like other entry-level Smartphones.

Additionally, the web browser (Chrome), Camera, Games and a number of other apps were noticed to be working very smoothly.

Camera

Moto E has a 5 Megapixels camera on the back, which is just average so the users can not expect very high quality pictures but at a price which is so cheap you can’t even complain. The disappointing thing for people who love clicking selfies is that there is no secondary camera in this device. You will have to manage with the primary camera only. Also, you don’t expect flash in this Smartphone, else you will be disheartened.
Additionally, there is no autofocus and you need to tap the screen for that matter.

 Battery

The 1980 mAh battery is great at this price. You just couldn’t ask for more!

Conclusion

There is a lot of what you need in this Smartphone, infact pretty much more than what you should be getting at Rs. 6999/-
The display quality and smooth software will please you well, even though its camera does not have much to offer. But the hardware is better than its competitors without ignoring the price factor at all.

The phone is much in comparison with the HTC Desire 210 Dual SIM, Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2, Moto G and various others.
It is also the best of what you can get at this price. You can compare it with the Moto G and Moto X and choose the one which suits your budget.
